"Uh no but I was planning on going to see what it was because I've heard people talk about it when they go on walks around the forest." raven replied quietly to the boy who she remembered saying his name was max. Raven didn't understand. Why was max being so nice to her even thought she was so different in appearance? After all he himself had a handsome appearance. What ever it was that kept him from leaving or freaking out raven was grateful that he was there still. Raven began to lightly tug on her silver ribbon around her neck, accidentally tugging it off.

"hey, im always happy to help someone, follow me i can show you where it is" max said. he got up and helped the girl up. he noticed that she had dropped something. he picked it up and gave it to her. he scratched her behind the ear again quickly, then headed twords the academy. "so please tell me more about yourself" said max

The boy stood up and scratched raven behind the ear again. He asked her to tell him more about herself "more? About me? Oh I don't know I'm not all that interesting.". Raven said.

The boy tried to make another joke. Raven stifled a girlish laugh she had never heard. Then he insisted she must have a story to give. " well my story is long and it honestly doesn't mater." raven said as she tied her ribbon tightly around her neck. Then her stomach erupted in a loud growl.

"you hungry?" said max, "or did you see a squrrel?" said max in annother joke. "i know a place where we can eat and you can tell me your story." max said. "its this way." he said turning at an intersection.

After ravens stomach growled he made a joke about squirrels. Then he said he knew somewhere that he and raven could eat. He began to lead raven somehwhere. Raven wanted to go but she still wasn't sure if she could trust him. She didnt want to but she took a step back hesitating to follow him

He told me not to worry. He said he wasn't going to hurt me and that he was just being nice. " I'm sorry it's just a lot has happened since I was little so I have a hard time trusting people." raven replied." I really am sorry about this. I guess you could say I have serious issues"

he asked if raven would why she has so many trust issues as they sat down and he scratched her behind the ears again. "well i guess the best short way to explain it is that im not used to people likeing me. its hasent happened since my mother died. wether it was because of my beliefs or my differences any other way i have always been the outcast. when i was ten my father disowned me he hated me so much. so i guess i have this strong trust barrier because i am trying to keep myself from being hated so much." raven explained to the boy.

the next thing he said took raven completely by suprise. he said she would fit in. those words were the words she had been looking for for a long time. and they were spoken by a complete stranger who had kept making jokes about dogs, which she wasnt sure wether or not she shoul take offensively. raven realized he had asked her what she wanted to eat. "eat oh ya i dont really have a wide veriyety of things i eat so what do you want to eat." raven asked hoping he didnt ask what she usually ate.

The boy suggested suggested a sandwich so raven shrugged and said " that's fine with me" after all regular food wasnt something she had ever eaten often. Then raven realizes that she never gave the boy her name. "by the way you can call me raven." raven tells him.
