Astoria groaned as she tuned another corner. Class would start in another fifteen seconds, but there was still a chance she could make it. Determined to be on time she picked up speed and raced down the hall, searching for the classroom. She cursed and mentally slapped herself as she realized it was a dead end and that she must have turned wrong somewhere. Clenching her fists she turned around and sighed, now she would definitely be late for class.

max was rushing down the hall, trying to think of a good excuse for being late, then he remembered that there was a test or something. thats it he thought, i got so caught up in studying that i lost track of time and didnt realize it was time for school. better than admitting that he overslept. as he was thinking this, he wasnt paying attention to where he was going, and he crashed into someone, knocking them both over.

Astoria groaned once again and both her hands shot up to the sides of her head. Someone had ran right into her knocking them both down. 'Seriously?!' she screamed inside her head. With an annoyed sigh she stood up and looked down at the person that ran into her. "You know you really should watch where you're going." Astoria said in a frustrated tone, reaching her hand out to help the boy up.

"sorry" said max, "and you really should know where class is" he said grinning, and pointing in the opposite direction that the girl was going. he picked up his stuff, and started to keep walking, but he realised he had dropped his ipod and turned around to see that it was still an the floor, next to the girl, "cold you hhand me that?", he asked.

Reece and Stein were sitting in the class room. Stein had noticed 2 students were missing, Stein turned to Reece and said "Do you mind-" cut off by Reece, Reece says "Of course ill be back in a few." Reece go's into the hallways and starts looking for the Max and Astoria. he looked in hallway after hallway. He finally stand's still for a moment and sigh, he hears some people talking. Reece turn's the corner to find Max and Astoria. Reece say's "Max you have no reason to be late and Astoria for some reason I'm not mad at you we'll talk later, Max tell me your story as we walk to class."

"Touche," Astoria smirked and grabbed the ipod of the ground and handed it to the boy, Max. "Here." A piece of her hair fell into her eyes and she blew it out of the way, it fell back into the same position, sometimes she wished she didn't have such long bangs. Sighing she decided to leave it alone, then she crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. 'Not mad at me? Oh well, I'm not complaining.' the girl thought to herself. "Alright then." she replied and started walking to class.

max took his ipod and put it in his pocket. he then wondered why reece wasnt mad at the girl astoria, but he decided hed ask him later. "well," said max as normaly as he could, "we have a test today, and i was so caught up studying that i lost track of time. when i realized that i was late for class i russhed here, but on the way, i quite literaly ran into astoria, and we then had to get our stuff and then you were here and now im telling you this." said max, knowing that reeece probably wouldnt buy it, but it was worth a try.

Astoria thought about Max's explanation. 'Don't most people study in the afternoon and not the morning? I guess he could just be an exception, but the answer had seemed a little rushed. It was mostly likely just a made-up reply, well the first part atleast.' She had to make up lies quite alot around her brothers so, she could tell when people were lying, most of the time. Though Astoria had been so caught up in her thoughts she tripped slightly (yes over air), but just barely caught herself before she could fall on her face. 'Smooth Astoria really nice.'

Reece says "Astoria don't hurt your self I'm not in a mood where i feel like helping some one out dont take it the wrong way i would help you if you were to get injured its in my nature... And Max you never get up early in the morning to study so you have a tardy. Astoria meet me in the student lounge after class you can explain your case their." Reece Max and Astoria continue walking and reach the class. Reece opens the door and whisper's to Stein "Max is a tardy and Astoria mark her here for now I didn't feel like listening to both their story's so Ill talk to Astoria later." Stein says "Ok email what i should do later."

"damn it reece" max wispered on his way by. "whats your game here, how come im late and shes not. u tell her if shes hurt ull help her but u dont even ask me if im ok. i need an explanation here." max continued to walk into class, staring menacingly at reece.

After a wile of Max staring at him he calls max out of the class room, Reece says in serious tone "If your mad at me for punishing you and not Astoria its because I don't feel like listening to both of your stories, Now is their anything else wrong?"

"Now why would I do that, your argument make's sense but I have no intention's to experiment on her." Reece is a little mad by this statement because he has no intention's of doing it, Reece understand's Max though. He also realize's that he usually let people off the hook and then talk to them later about it. Reece says "Ok Max if you want to know what happened I really just don't know... Ok Im letting you both off the hook but I still want to meet with Astoria latter to get to know her a little better you know her being new and all so if you could pass that along to her, thanks" Reece and Max go back into the class room. Reece says to Stein "Let them both off the hook for me." Stein replies "If you say so."

Astoria sat down inside the classroom and a few moments later Reece and Max came through the door. 'Let them both off the hook for me.' Astoria thought and narrowed her deep blue eyes. She couldn't help but listen in, she was curious. Reece said that he didn't believe Max's story, she wondered why he'd let him off the hook anyways. Something was definitely going on and now she really wanted to find out. 'Curiosity killed the cat they say? Ha, screw that.' she thought smirking. "So, are you still going to need to talk with me or . . ." Astoria asked Reece.
